Facilities also run 24 hours per
day. Our Nakmura WT-250s are geared up with 12 face
and 12 side powered tools enabling extremely complex
mill-turned components to be produced in one hit.
These machines can barfed up to 3" in diameter
or take up to 12" diameter billets.
We specialise in high speed machining
of aluminium, stainless steel and plastic. We have
upgraded many of our machines to the latest superspeed
Haas' and 4th axis units with 12000 rpm.
Programming is done off line using
MasterCam 12, which enables us to produce complex
forms from solid models which can be emailed to us
in a wide variety of formats. We also have many machines
set up with multi-vice configuration in for both 3
and 4 Axis batchwork machining.
Inspection is carried out using
our Brown&Sharp Co-ordinate measuring
machine or TESA Visio non contact UHD Camera.
Whatever your requirement, we will
do our best to ensure the method of manufacture is
efficient and optimum.
Our New Puma MX2500 has a rotating turret device which enables features at any angle to be easily machined into turned components.
The versatility and power of all our Multi Axis CNC Lathes are such that we can sometimes produce complex milled components from solid round bar faster
than they can be machined on a vertical milling machine.
This machine is similar to having a milling machine
with a fourth or fifth axis and cnc lathe all in one one.
